Accessibility statement

This statement covers the SilentSwarm web interface: the landing page, sign in, and the pages behind it (dashboard, pools, buckets, training, inference, administration).

Conformance status

This interface is partially conformant with BITV 2.0 and EN 301 549 (Chapter 9, equivalent to WCAG 2.1 Level AA). Partially conformant means most requirements are met and some are not yet; those are listed below.

Non-accessible content

The interface is only partly available in German. Navigation, the account menu and the legal pages are translated. The content of the working pages is English only for now. Those parts are marked up as English in the source, so a screen reader pronounces them correctly.
There is no German Sign Language video yet. An explanation in Leichte Sprache (plain German) is available.
The landing page diagrams carry full text alternatives. The animated graphic in the header is decorative and can be paused.
The swarm graph in the training view shows a topology that no single sentence renders usefully. The counts above it and the table below it carry the same information as text.
No report from an accredited testing body exists. A formal BITV-Test has not been carried out.

How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 2026-08-26 by self-assessment: an automated pass over every page with axe-core at two viewport sizes, computed contrast ratios for every colour pair in the theme, and manual checks of keyboard operation, focus order and reflow at 320 pixels. Testing with a screen reader by people with disabilities is still outstanding.

Enforcement procedure

If our response to your feedback does not satisfy you, you can contact the conciliation body under section 16 of the German Disability Equality Act (Schlichtungsstelle nach § 16 BGG). It mediates between people with disabilities and federal public bodies. The procedure is free of charge and needs no legal representation.
