Who makes SilentSwarm
SilentSwarm is made by NexPatch AI UG in Leipzig, Germany, led by managing director Fabian Franz. It is in pre-evaluation, and we are looking for companies, institutions and individuals who want to try it.
Why we build it
Running a large language model usually takes hardware few can afford, so the ability sits with a few. Meanwhile computers in labs, offices and homes stand idle. SilentSwarm joins machines that already exist, so that together they run models none of them could hold alone, on hardware their owners control.
Where it stands
- Pre-evaluation. The source code is not public. People evaluating it run it on their own machines.
- Measured. The benchmark page gives the numbers, the hardware and the method.
- Open about its gaps. The data and security page says what it does today, and what is not built yet.
